Collaborating Gallery
Since 2007, Julia Baitalá Arte Contemporáneo has promoted Argentine modern and contemporary art through research, documentation, editorial and audiovisual initiatives, and participation in international fairs. With an interdisciplinary perspective, the gallery foregrounds current artistic production while engaging with anthropological and historical themes. Works by Rosario Mainoli, Mariángeles Blanco, and Melchor Balsera—featured by Julia Baitalá—are now also on view at Kate Contemporary in Madrid, Spain.
Rosario Mainoli
Rosario Mainoli is a contemporary artist based in Salta, Argentina. Trained in architecture, her practice explores the elemental forces of the universe through an abstract and symbolic visual language. She often works with mixed media, incorporating materials such as metal, wood, and organic elements to create intricate textures and compositions. Her recent series, Patrones en el universo, reflects on gravitational, nuclear, and electromagnetic interactions.
Mariángeles Blanco
Mariángeles Blanco is an Argentine artist whose ceramic work explores themes of rupture, transformation, and memory. Her pieces symbolize emotional depth and the feminine experience, balancing fragility and resilience. Blanco bridges her Italian heritage with universal womanhood, creating works that embody the tension between destruction and renewal. Her art represents powerful symbols of identity, memory, and perpetual transformation.
Melchor Balsera
Melchor Balsera Maldonado is a Spanish contemporary artist whose work explores the emotional and material through fiberglass, metal mesh, and layered texture. His practice is rooted in an expressive approach that captures the nuances of the human condition. With numerous national and international awards, his work has been exhibited across Spain and in key European cities, including London and Milan.
