Melchor Balsera is a contemporary mixed media artist whose work explores the intersection of memory and materiality. Using a unique process of layering glazes and fiberglass mesh, he creates atmospheric landscapes that favor sensory experience over literal geography. His work is widely exhibited across Spain and internationally. He has received several awards, most recently the First Prize in Painting from AEDAS Homes and the Premio de Pintura “Félix Revello de Toro” from the Ayuntamiento de Málaga in 2025.
