“Shifts in Being” explores the dynamic interplay between identity, emotions, and creativity. Featuring the works of Averil Paras, Carlo Ongchangco, Farley del Rosario, Imam Santoso, Jomar Delluba, Kim Borja, Kwin Chi, and RV Basco, the exhibit complements “Mood Swings.” as it reinforces the theme of how emotional processing is inherent in viewing and creating art. Similarly, the varying artistic techniques and narratives, and the common thread of figures and faces offer a diverse yet coherent selection that builds on the idea of “range” — whether it means a spectrum of emotions or the contrast from the darkest to the lightest tone of color.
"Shifts in Being" is on view in Sala Dos at Kate Contemporary from 18 September to 10 October 2025.
