Born in Thailand, Wannaprapa Tungkasmith — known as Collagecanto — has been crafting intricate paper cut artworks since 2007. A self-taught artist, she draws inspiration from botanical illustrations, microscopic imagery, lacework, and vintage aesthetics, and transforms delicate paper into mesmerizing compositions. Her meticulous approach has earned her international recognition, with exhibitions in the U.S., Japan, and Thailand, as well as multiple Cannes Lions awards for collaborations with Ogilvy & Mather. Winner of the 2019 Reviewer Prize from Unknown Art Exchange in Osaka, Collagecanto’s work reveals the beauty of precision and the quiet power of detail.
