Chino Yulo is an emerging Filipino sculptor known for his works in wood, metal, and acrylic, where he distills abstract concepts into tangible forms that evoke the rhythms of nature. His sculptures, ranging from intricate tabletop pieces to expansive installations, are grounded in the principles of balance and flow. Yulo’s background in furniture making has shaped his approach to materiality, adding depth to his artistic practice.
Since his debut in 2019, he has mounted solo exhibitions at venues including Pintô Art Museum, Boston Gallery, and Qube Gallery. Yulo has also presented his works at Maison & Objet in Paris and Art Fair Philippines, with a commissioned show for Tiffany & Co. His work continues to gain international attention, with an exhibition in Madrid with Kate Contemporary.
